V2 Schematics

A V2 schematic.

Project Pendragon was a secret weapons development program carried out by Belka in 1985. The ultimate goal of the project was to develop a "mass retaliation" weapon for national defense, something realized by the V2 missile. Contrary to popular belief, the XB-0 Hresvelgr and the Excalibur were developed as entirely separate projects, and bear no relation to Pendragon.

The project was initiated in 1985 under the direction of Anton Kupchenko, a Belkan Air Force pilot and weapons scientist. The V2 MIRV was realized within five years, and its launch silo was constructed in Avalon Dam, ostensibly a civilian project, with funding from international donations.[1]

  • Project Pendragon's namesake comes from "pendragon", a European name given to several British kings, although it is most commonly associated with king Uther Pendragon, father of King Arthur.
