Description
The XR-900 Geopelia is Neucom Incorporated's response to the General ResourcesDarkness of Enigma project. XR-900s were just commencing production (R-900s?) at the end of the Corporate War of 2045. Very similar to the X-49 Night Raven - the aforementioned Darkness of Enigma - due to having the same design team (ex-DOE), the Geopelia is a bi-wing hyperjet using two Aeon Particle Turbines (APT), four pulse detonation jets (PDE), and a heavy laser cannon as its main weapon. It also wears the same type of snub nose with a spine-mounted v.4 ENSI COFFIN cockpit between its APTs. The main difference is that the XR-900 is considered an Unmanned Combat Air Vehicle (UCAV) with a dedicated artificial intelligence (AI) system, possibly created by Simon Orestes Cohen, responsible for sublimation theories and the "Nemo" project. The Geopelia's flight characteristics are a little better compared to the Night Raven thanks to the fact that, like the R-100 series Delphinus II and III, it uses wing morphing.
Geopelia and XFA-36
The XR-900 did see action once during the Corporate War. In late 2045 a group of XR-900s, without warning, lifted off from Megafloat before it was destroyed and flew to Port Edwards. At this point the aircraft began inflicting heavy damage to the city with an unhealthy amount of laser ordnance. The General Resource Defense Force (GRDF) dispatched an AI Pilot - Nemo itself to be exact - to deal with them. After finally hacking into one of the XR-900s, the pilot destroyed the other Geopelia. The final XR-900 was then delivered to a GRDF base for study and examination. The XR-900s were believed to have been remote piloted by the terrorist group Ouroboros, but nothing has been confirmed... yet.
Variants
YR-900 Geopelia
The prototype of the XR-900 Geopelia, the YR-900 was a little different in appearance and function. Lacking its heavy laser and using conventional scramjets in place of the Aeon turbines, the YR-900 is a demonstrator for the airframe itself.

Differences
- On the prototype the bottom engines are blue.
- It has a more conventional jet sound as opposed to the XR-900.
- The prototype has flames that come out of the upper engines which are very large while the final model has Aeon particles.
- Lack of any details in the bottom of the plane. The rest of the grey-colored part of the plane also displays a distinct lack of detail.
- The prototype has a top speed of 2856 km/h.
- The prototype has a missile payload of 199 and is armed with a 20mm Vulcan instead of its HLC.
Of note is that the YR-900 was originally found via Gameshark employment, similar to the hidden mission Game Show.
