The YF-23A Black Widow II is an experimental fighter aircraft developed by Northrop Grumman. Developed in the early 1990s as a participant in the Advanced Tactical Fighter (ATF) programme, it possesses an unusual design with triangular-shaped wings.
Ultimately, the YF-23 was defeated by Lockheed Martin's YF-22 Lightning II, which would go on to become the F-22A Raptor.

The YF-23A Black Widow II is back in yet another installment of Ace Combat. It is being released with the DLC pack #7. The Special Weapons include the QAAM and SAAM. This is the seventh time that the YF-23A Black Widow II is available to pilot; it was first available to pilot in Air Combat.
