The YRB-89 is a tactical bomber employed by the Democratic Republic of Leasath. It made its only appearance in the side-story Ace Combat Xi: Skies of Incursion.
Description
The YRB-89 is a modified, and enlarged YR-99 Forneus, converted to a bomber aircraft. The YRB-89 was Leasath's main bomber in the early stages of the Leasath-Aurelia War. However, the aircraft had next to no air support in their sorties, thus all known YRB-89s were shot down by the Aurelian Falco Squadron. Given how no other YRB-89s are seen in the Ace Combat X: Skies of Deception story, it is possible that the ones seen in Xi were the only ones built by Leasath; at least, the only known models.
