- In Ace Combat: Assault Horizon, the cone sticking out of the plane's nose is retractable.
- In the "Unlockables" section, the name of the aircraft is misspelled as "Mig-21bis".
- The "Knight" paint scheme in Ace Combat Zero appears to be based on a scheme worn by the MiG-21 LanceR operated by the Romanian Air Force.
- The MiG-21bis Fishbed's deployment in the Usean coup d'état is non-canon as the aircraft does not appear in Ace Combat 2Template:'s remake, Ace Combat: Assault Horizon Legacy, where it is replaced by the MiG-21-93 Fishbed.
- In Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown the Osean Air Force appears to have abandoned the two-tone green camouflage scheme they previously used in favour of Yuktobania's white body with green tail tip.
